Shortly after the release of the Corally SP12V, the Canadian company Honda House developed a new chassis plate for this model, so it could be used on the smaller North American indoor circuits. Because the 4-cell battery was placed in the middle of the chassis plate, this model was popularly called Corally Inline. This model was such a huge success, that it was sold in the original Corally box. Years later, this model was used as prototype for the Corally 12SL, which was released in 2010.
